Time for a change
by Henrik Sarimo on Jun.26, 2011, under Other

As of now the blog in its current format will go inactive. I will leave the posts here to serve as an archive of inspiration. But do not fret, there will still be interesting stuff coming your way for I will not quit my blogging activities altogether. I won’t be writing anymore, but I will create a wall on the front page which will update every time I post something on Twitter or Facebook. Also every time I like/favorite a video or a link on a social media site (YouTube, Vimeo, Delicious etc) it will be posted. These changes will take place sometime next week.
I want to thank all my readers and fans for their support over the last two years or so. 31 000+ hits truly humbles me for originally this blog was created to just record interesting art & design related stuff for myself and act as a part of my university studio journal.
I hope you enjoyed the run — I sure did — and please do stop by every once in a while to see the latest happenings! Once again, thank you and see you soon!
Wim Crouwel’s retrospective
by Henrik Sarimo on Jun.02, 2011, under Advertising, Books, Design
For the legendary designer Wim Crouwel’s retrospective the Design Museum in London commissioned a big cadre of designers to design a catalogue, posters and other stuff. First up is the catalogue by united editions.

Next is the exhibition poster and a set of limited edition ‘C’ posters by Spin.

And last but not least, 6 designs by various Crouwel admirers (Spin, Cartlidge Levene, Build, Experimental Jetset, MuirMcNeil & Philippe Apeloig).

Charles, Your Hangover is a hilarious and clever film about hangovers. The film was written and directed by Two Trick Pony and the cinematography is by JK Pincosy.
